This is a copy of your email account for continuity purposes. In the event of an outage of your primary server, you can use this to send and receive emails. When your primary server returns to operation, the emails here will be delivered again.

Additionally, emails you saved in the folder "Sent Items" but will not be delivered to your server automatically but you can use an IMAP mail client to recover the sent items later!
